I think you might agree, but everyone needs to be in a constant state of improvement, because in case you haven’t noticed yet, this industry is utterly ruthless and will expose every weakness you dont want the world to know about. Its just the nature of entrepreneurship.
So I want to prepare you and provide you with the skills you need in order to overcome more than just a few objections…FEAR of rejection and failure is what cripples people in our industry. These recruiting scripts are a stepping stone that will help to provide the foundation of confidence that you will soon have as a leader in your company! When you feel prepared and confident when talking to a prospect…your entire attitude and demeanor changes…you become the person people want to join because they want to go where you are going!

The 7 Most Common MLM Objections – BUSTED!
Here is my list of the 7 most common MLM objections along with my personal strategy (and commentary) on what to say (or not to say) and WHY. This will help you overcome the objection and collect a YES or NO answer so that you can move on to the next prospect!
Objection #1: How much money are YOU making?
This is my favorite and most frequent objection! The problem is that its a terrible question to start with. Your prospect has assumed that whatever results you have achieved (or not achieved) will be the same results they get.
Of course the experienced networker knows that this couldnt be farther from the truth…You could sponsor someone who outproduces you ten fold, or fall flat on their face…their success is up to them!
The Best Answer: “It’s not about how much I am making, it’s about what you’re going to do”.
Objection #2: How much does this cost?
This objection should really make you question whether or not you want to even work with this person since the question stems from a poor mindset.
The Best Answer: “It’s not about spending money, it’s about making money”
Once you say this, go DIRECTLY into your next question and control the conversation. After they have seen your presentation/opportunity/product…then give the price. But until they have all the info, its still a bad question…DONT ANSWER IT!
Objection #3: I cant afford it…
You can respond one of two ways depending where you are in the conversation…
The Best Answer (early in conversation): “Joe, it doesn’t cost you anything to check it out, does it”?
You want your prospect to say “YES” as much as possible in your conversation…doesnt matter what he says yes to. This actually conditions their subconscious to answer yes when you ask them to make a decision! Ninja stuff here!
The Best Answer (later in conversation): “Frankly Joe, from what you have told me…I dont think you can afford not too. Am I right?”
Remind your prospect of their “reason WHY” e.g. They spend all their time at their JOB and are missing out on their kids growing up
Objection #4: I am not really a sales person.
This is one of the largest misconceptions about MLM is that you have to be a sales person.
The Best Answer: That’s really great Joe, because this is not a selling business. Its a business where you connect people with a solution to hurts, issues and hangups. You help to inspire and create success in others!
Objection #5: I dont think I would have the time.
Dont get fooled by this one! Here is how I respond:
The Best Answer: We all have 24 hours in a day. If you are ever going to have the chance to enjoy the lifestyle you said you wanted for you and your family, then you have to MAKE TIME. You and I are going to work together to apply some time management strategies and lay out your SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) to free up all the time you need. Some of the most successful people in this industry began with as little as 7 hours a week…lets make it happen.
Objection #6: Is this a pyramid thing?
This question is legit and is fear driven. The best thing you can do is show them your presentation and respond like this:
The Best Answer: Are you looking for a pyramid thing Joe? That great, then you are going to love this!
Objection #7: Let me think about it…
One of my favorites because you get to call out their bluff!
The Best Answer: Really Joe? Is it that you want some more time to think about it, or is it that you really just want to say NO and you dont want to hurt my feelings. Dont worry…we can still be friends.
